What does microneedling do?

Will it hurt?
One of the first questions patients ask about this treatment is "does microneedling hurt?". Generally, no, microneedling does not hurt. Before the device is used, a numbing cream soothes and prepares the skin for treatment. The rapid movement of the needles themselves makes treatment go by quickly. Most patients describe it as a feeling like fine sandpaper on the skin.
Will I see any immediate results with Exceed microneedling?
It is recommended to complete a series of 4 exceed treatments 4 weeks apart to achieve desired results. You may see improves in the skin as soon as 30 days, but it can take up to 3 months for new collagen and elastin to form in the skin. After about 30 days, you'll notice more dramatic improvements as collagen and elastin are restored beneath the skin's surface.
What is microneedling with PRP?
